A second year Sauder School of Business student, Monique is a strong advocate for using
her business skills to better the community. With environmental sustainability being one of
her primary passions, she hopes to eradicate her ecological footprints while leaving a legacy
of community building. An activator and a learner, she loves to inspire others to reach their
fullest potentials while seeking to do so also in her personal life. Monique is the President of
SIFE UBC this year and amongst her goals for the club this year includes establishing a strong
relationship with a faculty advisor, developing strong and sustainable projects and ensuring
that SIFE UBC is a place where members have fun and learn tons. In her spare time, Monique
loves connecting with individuals and learning about their stories while sharing hers also –
everyone is unique and deserves to be heard.
Hi! My name is Mary and I am the Vice-President of SIFE UBC for the current year. A
little about myself: I am a 4th year Commerce student specializing in Accounting, my two
favourite activities are badminton and eating (yes, eating does count!), and this is my 3rd
year with SIFE.
Having held various positions from Project Associate to Vice President, I really encourage
everyone to give SIFE a try! Sure it seems different and unfamiliar, but it is a rewarding,
worthwhile and unique experience! Interested yet? Please let any of us on the SIFE team
know if you have any questions!

the club as budgeted. I see SIFE UBC as a place where we can work together to develop
social entrepreneurial projects, as well, to enhance our skills and abilities. With four exciting
projects being developed and run this year, I will ensure proper financial support behind
each project. When it reaches May, we will send as many associates as we can to the
National Competition. I want to utilize my skills and make sure everyone has a fabulous year
with SIFE UBC.

Kitty, Co-external Director
My name is Kitty and I am the Co-External Director for this school year.
This past May, I went to the SIFE National Competition in Toronto with the rest of the exec team. This experience made me realize the impact that SIFE students have on society through business skills. I also had the chance to enhance the connection between SIFE students and learn from the other teams. I hope, with the experiences I had from last year, I can help improve SIFE UBC this school year.
As the Co-External Director, I will be mainly involved in the promotion of our team and connecting to various companies and organizations in hopes of getting as much practical and financial support from them. Obtaining support from them will help us improve on our current outreach projects and formulate better ones in the future. Therefore, I will try my very best to play an active role in improving SIFE UBC!
